CAD drafting and design software to develop construction plans for Subdivision, Commercial, Institutional and Infrastructure projects
Preparing complete submission packages, design reports, supporting calculations, cost estimates, project schedules, and other duties
Coordinating design components with other disciplines, and possible work with other offices (possibly involving some travel)
Collecting field data to support engineering projects
Assisting with construction site observation and meetings
Other entry-level engineering duties as needed to support infrastructure projects

Stantec has an opportunity for a highly motivated Civil Engineering to work with our staff in the Community Development and Transportation fields
The position will be based in Baton Rouge, LA
Your role is to work with guidance and direction on tasks and smaller projects, and as a team member of a larger project under the guidance of a Senior Engineer
You will participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and specification for engineered systems or products for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards/practices
