Responsibilities

Executes and is responsible for basic alteration services (i.e. Hemming, patch and repair, tapering, etc.) and more technical alterations (e.g. Fitting/tailoring items other than jeans, where more technical equipment is necessary; detailed appearance altering processes.)

Exemplifies and possesses strong customer service skills to elevate our clients’ experience

Resolve tailor-related consumer concerns in a manner consistent with company policy and with consumer satisfaction in mind. Partner with store management on elevated consumer issues

Educates and trains store teams on customer offerings and services provided by the Tailor Shop

May support with training Tailors within district and/or region on Tailor processes and Levi’s Tailoring standards

Comply with all Levi's® Stores policy, procedure, and programs, able to follow directives of store management

Suggest looks that incorporate the latest trends and current promotions based on the consumer's needs consistent with Levi's® service approach

Promote Levi's® omni experience by engaging consumers with Red Tab Loyalty program

Efficient handling of all cash and Tailor Shop-related merchandise operations and procedures in compliance with store policy

Required

Has a thorough understanding of denim industry and current/upcoming trends

Understands textiles and fabrics with proven skills in sewing, tailoring and textile repair

Has awareness of design and details strong communication skills both internally and externally

Is fashion savvy and interested in current trends

Enjoys being busy and juggling multiple tasks

Is available to work a flexible schedule to meet, including evening, weekend and holidays

Is able to lift up to 40 pounds, as well as constant standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching overhead, and climbing ladders with or without reasonable accommodation

Has reliable transportation

Must be 16 years old

Has a minimum of 3 years' sewing/tailoring experience, a strong knowledge of jeans construction, and a thorough knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products
