Responsibilities

Support to Production : Coordinate with Design Engineering, Production technician, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality organizations to meet manufacturing contractual commitments. Investigate, design, and provide solutions to support nonconformance repair procedures
Process Development/Maintenance : Generate and maintain/revise Manufacturing Engineering Process Specifications, Work Instructions, Routers, Tooling/Fixturing, and Equipment
Continuous improvement : Review of quality metrics to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, cycle time, and defects
Producibility reviews : Collaborate with design engineering to achieve producibility in new and updated product designs
Ability to interface/communicate with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors
Work with Microsoft Office Suites

Required

Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience; or a Master of Science (MS) degree in equivalent fields
Experience interpreting drawings and specifications
Experience creating process work instructions, working in a manufacturing environment, and/or working in a design environment
The ability to obtain and DOD security clearance
United States citizenship required

Preferred

Active DoD Security Clearance
Experience working in a cleanroom manufacturing environment
Experience with automated manufacturing equipment
Prior experience with Integrated Micro Assembly (IMA) manufacturing and/or Circuit Card Assemblies
Experience with the manufacturing of Traveling Wave Tube Assemblies (TWT)
Proven excellence with Root Cause Corrective Action methods
Experience in developing/improving manufacturing processes for Radio Frequency (RF) Electronic products and/or equivalent
