Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive care for kidney and pancreas transplant recipients, including pre- and post-transplant management
Perform kidney transplant biopsies and participate in the assessment of living donors
Supervise and mentor renal fellows and contribute to ongoing research initiatives
Support the outreach strategy by attending outreach clinics in the greater Chicagoland area to build referral streams for kidney transplant patients
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care throughout the pre-transplant, perioperative, and post-transplant phases
Qualification
Required
Board Certification in Nephrology required
Completion of a formal ASN/AST Accredited Transplant Nephrology Fellowship
Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, education, and research in transplant nephrology
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with an interest in working across a large, integrated health system
