Senior Director, PR (US Hispanic)

The Senior Director will lead the U.S. Hispanic division of the Publicity team, guiding clients and internal teams towards impactful earned media results while fostering client relations and overseeing team development.

Responsibilities
Lead the growing U.S. Hispanic division of the Publicity team
Guide clients, internal teams, and creative partners toward solutions resulting in impactful earned results
Expand and foster a growing roster of clients
Oversee the wider team and departmental workstream inclusive of: account management, client relations, team development, day to day tactics, media relations, and overall campaign execution
Articulate a strong POV and inspire clarity and confidence to align stakeholders both internally and externally
Proficient at delegation, budget oversight, organization, and prioritizing tasks among themselves and their team
Get one's 'hands dirty' and operate with a natural passion and deep understanding of PR as a whole
Qualification
Required
Bilingual with the ability to read, write and translate press materials in English and Spanish
Understanding of the role influencers and other key opinion leaders play in the PR space
Informed POV on the ever-changing media landscape
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to articulate a strong POV and inspire clarity and confidence to align stakeholders both internally and externally
Proficient at delegation, budget oversight, organization and prioritizing tasks
Willingness to get one's hands dirty
Natural passion and deep understanding of PR
Self-motivated team player who is reliable, resourceful, open to growth, and accountable
Open, 'can do' and strategic mindset
Entrepreneurial, eager to grow, learn and inspire others
Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in it
Preferred
Location: Remote, Los Angeles, NYC, MIA preferred
At least 7-9 years of in-house or agency experience in entertainment, tech, product and/or consumer PR
Strong familiarity of prominent Hispanic outlets and journalists
In-depth understanding of the U.S. Hispanic consumer
