Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA, and other applicable safety regulations
Act as the Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) for the project, ensuring all safety protocols are implemented and maintained
Conduct regular site safety audits, inspections, and hazard analyses to identify risks and implement corrective actions
Develop and maintain Accident Prevention Plans (APPs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and other safety documentation as required
Provide safety training, toolbox talks, and briefings to on-site personnel
Investigate and document incidents, near misses, and safety violations, recommending corrective actions
Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and military personnel to ensure a safe work environment
Maintain accurate safety records and reports in compliance with government and company policies
Qualification
Required
Must possess an active CSP Certified Safety Professional certification to be considered
Must demonstrate at least 10 years in construction safety
Must demonstrate previous SSHO and EM 385 experience
Must be able to pass a DBIDs background check
Preferred
Spanish/English Bilingual preferred
