New Grad, Entry LevelBert Ogden Auto Group is seeking a Quality Control Specialist responsible for performing final quality inspections on serviced vehicles to ensure they meet safety and quality standards. The role involves verifying vehicle components, documenting inspection results, and coordinating with service staff to guarantee vehicle readiness for delivery.

Responsibilities
Perform final quality inspections on all serviced vehicles before release
Verify all lug nuts are present, undamaged, and torqued to manufacturer specifications
Inspect oil pan drain plug and oil filter housing for proper installation and leaks
Use proper tools and PPE, ensuring torque wrenches and inspection equipment are calibrated
Document inspection results using the QC Inspection Checklist for each vehicle
Red-tag and report any failed inspections or safety concerns immediately to the Shop Foreman or Service Manager
Record all corrective actions and re-inspect vehicles after repairs
Ensure all completed checklists are signed, dated, and attached to the Repair Order
Coordinate with Service Advisors and Cashiers to verify QC completion before vehicle delivery
Maintain consistent adherence to Bert Ogden Auto Group’s safety and quality standards
Remain available during all shop hours and ensure coverage during absences
Uphold zero tolerance for missed inspections or critical safety errors
Qualification

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely
Occasional lifting, standing, crawling, reaching, use of stairs
Ability to travel occasionally
Valid Texas Driver's License
