Student IT Support Specialist
Ohio University is seeking a Student IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to students, staff, and faculty. The role involves troubleshooting software or hardware issues and maintaining IT systems to ensure smooth technological operations across the University.

Responsibilities
Supporting video conferencing classrooms by turning on equipment and reporting problems
Assisting with inventory, testing, and cleaning of computer equipment
Answering the help desk phone, entering work orders, and resolving issues when possible
Support campus events through setup, operating technology, and tear down
Checking out and delivering equipment
Supporting campus projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Be a student at OHIO University or another institution
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 which is a grade of 'C' or higher
Basic computer literacy
Good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work productively without close supervision
Ability to follow confidentiality policies
Enrolled for classes at Ohio University, Hocking College, another post-secondary education institution, or a secondary school during the current semester, immediate previous semester, or immediate upcoming semester
Able to follow instructions and complete tasks within deadlines
Basic knowledge of office software and communication tools
