The Electrical Assembler II will be responsible for manufacturing Build-to-Print Alternate Mission Equipment, including assembling, self-inspecting, testing, and modifying various electronic and electromechanical components.

Responsibilities

Setup and operate various types of equipment, tools and fixtures/shop aids to fabricate and assemble electrical assemblies (such as calibrated Hand Tools, Torque Wrenches, Crimping Tools, Calipers, and Scales)

Setup and perform manual and computer-controlled operations for assembly and testing (as required)

Understand and use planning instructions and assembly drawings

Follow all policies and procedures to protect product from Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) damage

Hi-REL soldering certification, specifications and procedures

Learn, participate, and apply various trainings into daily work

Verify that all components, consumables, equipment and calibration are within tolerance/expiration before using

Use Lean and 6S methodologies to improve and maintain an efficient work area

Perform other related duties as may be required
