Thermal Fluids Analyst
Stoke Space Technologies is focused on building a sustainable space economy through innovative launch systems. As a Thermal-Fluids Analyst, you will develop thermal and fluids models to enhance the performance of their reusable vehicle, Nova, and collaborate with engineers to achieve design objectives.

Responsibilities
Build propellant tank thermodynamic models of vehicle stages and fluid subsystems to both provide requirements and verify system performance
Build both system level and detailed thermal models of the launch vehicle and its components to derive qualification levels and verify system performance
Perform analysis based on these models and iterate to achieve design objectives
Provide recommendations to other engineering teams based on these analyses
Contribute to the development of analysis processes and tools
Document the results of analyses to support reviews and provide inputs to other teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5+ years of experience in aerospace thermal-fluids analysis
Demonstrated capability to perform analysis of complex thermo-fluid systems
Demonstrated capability to perform thermal analysis of both systems and components
Experience with industry standard tools such as Thermal Desktop & ANSYS Mechanical
Programming experience in either Python or Matlab
Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics
Preferred
Master's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Prior work on launch vehicles or liquid fueled rocket engine components
