Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes (machining centers), with a preference for experience using HAAS controls
Operate and maintain manual lathes and mills as needed for prototype or low-volume production work
Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM systems with at least 2 years of experience, demonstrating a strong desire to continually improve and optimize processes
Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to ensure parts meet precise engineering specifications
Apply knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and material properties to select appropriate tooling and machining parameters
Perform basic inspection and measurement of machined parts; experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) is considered a strong asset
Collaborate effectively with engineering, scientific, assembly, and machine shop teams to support product development and manufacturing goals

Required

At least 6+ years of manual and/or CNC machining experience
Good mechanical and machining skills
Set up and operate CNC milling machines and lathes (machining centers), with a preference for experience using HAAS controls
Operate and maintain manual lathes and mills as needed for prototype or low-volume production work
Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM systems with at least 2 years of experience
Demonstrating a strong desire to continually improve and optimize processes
Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to ensure parts meet precise engineering specifications
Apply knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and material properties to select appropriate tooling and machining parameters
