Commodities Business Operational Risk Analyst
Macquarie Group is a global financial services group operating in 31 markets, and they are seeking a Commodities Business Operational Risk Analyst to support its growing global business. The role involves partnering with trading desks, identifying and managing non-financial risks, and enhancing risk awareness and control processes.

Responsibilities
Proactively identifying, assessing, reporting and managing the associated non-financial risks
Providing advice on a broad range of risk matters
Assessing new product- and business initiatives
Investigating incidents
Testing the effectiveness of controls
Supporting actions arising from regulatory reviews and audits
Owning risk actions and issues for resolution
Influencing and collaborating with stakeholders from across the trade lifecycle to mitigate risks appropriately
Qualification
Required
A strong background in commodity markets, in both physical and financial products, with 3+ years of commodity markets experience
A demonstrable understanding of non-financial risks in a regulated business and ability to contribute to robust control design
Experience with designing, implementing, and executing control assurance programs
Have experience leading change projects and enjoy working in and contributing to high performing teams
A high achievement drive, with strong resilience and tenacity with an innovative mindset with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
Preferred
Backgrounds in Commodities, Financial Markets, Structured Trade Finance, or Trading would be of interest
Big 4 experience a plus
