Graduate Sales Development Representative (SDR)

CompassX Group is a fast-growing consulting firm seeking a Graduate Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help generate new opportunities with major brands in Southern California. The role involves engaging with clients, building relationships, and setting up meetings to drive consulting projects, while contributing to the development of the sales function within the company.

Responsibilities

Drive new client engagement through outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) and networking (industry events, in-person meetings)
Maintain a high volume of daily outbound activity that meets or exceeds targets
Schedule introductory and discovery meetings for the leadership and sales team
Conduct initial qualification calls to uncover client needs and potential project opportunities
Develop knowledge of CompassX services and communicate our value proposition clearly and confidently
Log prospecting activities, notes, and follow-ups in the CRM system
Collaborate with leadership to prioritize target accounts and refine outreach strategies

Required

0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or lead generation (consulting, professional services, or B2B sales a plus)
Ability to maintain high activity levels and generate qualified meetings
Strong communication skills and a client-first mindset
Resilience, grit, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage time independently
A collaborative spirit and desire to contribute to a team-oriented, entrepreneurial culture
Willingness to visit clients in person throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Diego
