Responsibilities

Support the Director and Program Manager(s) in fielding uncompromisable capabilities to the Warfighter by providing a secure environment to protect our sensitive information and assets

Empowers directors, security managers, and information users with effective processes and structure to assess and mitigate risk in order to protect critical National Security information, including Collateral/Special Access Programs

Serve as a senior technical advisor on cyber, IT or IM activities

Utilize expertise in planning, organizing, and/or directing cyber, IT, or information/knowledge management (IM) activities to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and AF/DoD-directed requirements to meet mission and customer needs

Design, develop, and manage systems to meet current and future business requirements

Apply hands on experience to extend, enhance or optimize the existing architecture

Coordinate with program and project managers of other organizations and agencies in developing, operating and modifying policies

Prepare reports encompassing long and short-range planning strategy recommendations and present briefings covering recommendations for acquisition or changes in business practices through enhanced IT use

Ability to obtain & maintain a Top Security clearance with access to SCI

This is a designated Drug Testing Position

Must be able to obtain and maintain Information Assurance Certification such as CompTia Sec + within 6 months of employment

The selectee must meet or be capable of achieving the APDP certification as designated on the position description

Engage in acquisition continuous learning activities achieving 80 Continuous Learning points every 24 months

Total Compensation Offers will include base salary + locality as determined by appropriate Operating Location once candidate has been selected for specific vacant position.

PCS dollars may be available to cover moving costs if appropriate in hiring centrally managed positions.
