Responsibilities

Design, develop, and environmental monitoring instrumentation

Design electronic circuits with analog, digital, and optical components

Program microcontrollers, SOMs, and DSPs

High-Level Programming Languages, i.e., C++, C#

Strong communication, planning, and organization skills

Preparation of specifications, SOW, and test documentation

Report engineering progress weekly

Create and maintain design documentation

Equipment hardware and software troubleshooting

Collaborate effectively with other members of the design team

Embedded Systems Design

Electronic hardware troubleshooting on both new and legacy designs

Experience in the design of opto-electronics and lasers is preferred

Required

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at an ABET-accredited university with coursework in Circuit Analysis and Embedded Systems (or related field) is required

Must be able to type and use a computer

Must be able to lift 20 lbs. from the floor to above your head

Sitting for extended periods of time is required
