Senior Bank Examination Training Specialist, CG-0570-13/14 (Temporary Assignment NTE 3 Years)
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is seeking a Senior Bank Examination Training Specialist to support the planning, administering, and evaluating of training programs for the Divisions of Depositor and Consumer Protection and Risk Management Supervision. The role includes providing recommendations to management, evaluating training effectiveness, and leading course development processes.

Responsibilities
Plan, administer, evaluate, and maintain training programs for the Division of Risk Management Supervision (RMS) bank examiners. Provide recommendations and assistance to the Chief, Examiner Learning Program (ELP), on a broad range of issues affecting RMS Examiner Training and Development programs
Identify and evaluate the services of DCP and RMS instructors and guest speakers within the academic arena. Provide guidance and coaching to all speakers and instructors
Evaluate training activities and associated materials to determine their effectiveness. Identify current issues as well as course topics. Develop new program materials as the need arises
Provide leadership to the course development process. Provide course revision/modification recommendations to the development team based on analysis of participant and instructor feedback. Facilitate lead instructor meetings to identify course curriculum changes/additions/deletions/modifications
Make presentations and recommendations on a variety of issues to Course Oversight Group and other members of DCP and RMS management as needed

Required
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social)
To qualify for the CG-13: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service
Specialized experience is experience performing examinations of insured depository institutions; and providing coaching and delivering training to other examiners
To qualify for the CG-14: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-13 grade level or above in the Federal service
Specialized experience is experience performing examinations of insured depository institutions; developing, delivering, and evaluating training; and assessing the coaching and training of other examiners
Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement
