As a Sales/Intake Attorney, you will be the first point of contact for individuals facing criminal charges, guiding them through the intake process and providing valuable support during a challenging time.
Law Practice
Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition: Conduct daily consultations with pre-qualified potential clients (20 per day). Understand their legal situation, communicate our value, and guide them through the intake process to secure representation
Educate and Advise: Develop deep knowledge of criminal law and our firm’s approach to various case types, so you can confidently answer questions and build trust
Client Connection: Show empathy and professionalism with every call. Many of our clients are in crisis — your voice and demeanor can turn fear into confidence
Brand Representation: As the firm’s first point of contact, you embody our values of zealous advocacy and premium client service. Every interaction should leave potential clients thinking, "Michael & Associates really cares."
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in California
Experience in criminal law or related fields
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to empathize with clients in crisis
Proven ability to conduct consultations and secure representation
Willingness to embrace technology and innovative practices
Preferred
Experience in sales or client intake roles
Familiarity with digital marketing and data-driven systems
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Interest in continuous improvement and professional development
