CAD Engineering Intern

The CAD Engineering Intern will work with the Chip Package System Engineering team to support platform improvements and collaborate with design engineers on various projects.

Responsibilities
Work on improvements to the platform, under the guidance of CPSE experts
Provide support for the platform through close interaction with ADI’s engineers, across a broad range of products
Engage with technical experts at leading EDA vendors, and drive feature enhancements
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience through courses or employment in some/all of these areas preferred: Analog/RF Circuits: Knowledge of analog and/or RF circuit fundamentals
Mixed-Signal IC Design: Knowledge of analog/digital circuit integration
Simulation Modeling: Familiarity with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB, and Cadence Design Suite to validate design performance
Integrated Circuit Layout: Understanding of physical IC layout considerations and hands-on experience with layout tools and techniques
System analysis/integration
Numerical analysis
Programming experience in C/C++, Python, Perl or other languages
Good communication and analytical skills
