Responsibilities

Serve as a resource for questions related to monitoring and event response processes

Review monitoring procedures and response playbooks

Staying current with information security threats, trends and tactics

Conduct vulnerability scans according to schedule

Design and plan phishing campaigns with the involvement of Level I and II analysts

Show proficiency in FFIEC Cyber Assessment Tool requirements along with NIST 800-53, and CIS Top 20 Security Control elements

Assist in developing configuration standards and best practices

Assist in conducting information security risk assessments

Assist in designing vulnerability scans

Assist the Information Security Officer with developing and maintaining information security policies
