Financial Manager
The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) is part of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, focused on safeguarding the financial system from financial crime. As a Financial Manager, you will develop and oversee a comprehensive budget, ensure compliance with federal budgetary requirements, and support senior managers in budget presentations and defense.

Responsibilities
Develop, or direct the development of a comprehensive, integrated budget that supports FinCEN programs, projects, or other initiatives
Provide appropriate budget guidance, assistance, and information to senior managers, bureau specialists, MD staff, and FinCEN organizations
Ensure that the FinCEN complies with budgetary requirements issued by OMB, GAO, and other Federal entities
Provide support to senior managers in the presentation and defense of this budget to decisionmakers within and outside of Treasury and exercises control over obligation and expenditure of funds
Qualification
Required
Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
One year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service
Providing direction and control over Financial Management operations such as accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Advising senior management on financial, budget and resource management program matters
Developing guidelines or policy related to financial management operations
Must successfully complete a background investigation
Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment
Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer
If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so
Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form I-9
Obtain and use a Government-issued charge card for business-related travel
File a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment and annually from then on
Undergo an income tax verification
Submit to a drug test prior to your appointment
