ProKidney is seeking a Facilities Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing facility systems and equipment. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and environmental systems

Oversee preventive maintenance scheduling and execution

Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety protocols, and industry standards (LOTO, OSHA, NEC)

Document maintenance activities in the Work Order system and equipment logbooks

Provide on-call support for facility issues outside of regular hours

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve operations

Required

Associate's or technical degree/certification in Facilities Maintenance or a related field

3+ years of experience in facilities maintenance with a focus on utility equipment and mechanical systems

Strong knowledge of cGMP, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

Experience with maintenance software systems (e.g., Work Order management)

Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use PPE safely

Certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Mechanical Systems

Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals or manufacturing
