The Copy Supervisor will conceptualize and develop promotional materials for assigned products, train team members, and participate in strategic planning while collaborating with Art Directors.

Responsibilities

Write effective promotional copy, acting as a primary copywriter on at least one product

Review material produced by other writers in the team, including review of final manuscripts

Supervise senior copywriter(s), copywriter(s) and junior copywriter(s), as needed

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of assigned therapeutic categories

Participate in strategic promotional planning for assigned products

Understand and ensure compliance with the editorial process

Demonstrate mastery of manuscript submission process, including referencing and regulatory details of assigned product(s)

Interact with Art Directors to develop creative concepts and executions for assigned products

Present concepts and promotional material to the client

Assist in product launches

Required

5-7 years of professional writing experience, with at least 2 years of pharmaceutical advertising copywriting experience

Previous experience in medical device essential

Strong portfolio showing a variety of work including HCP and Consumer

Demonstrated track record for independently producing successful, compelling, and strategically sound pharmaceutical promotional materials in 2 or more therapeutic categories

Comfortable working within tight deadlines

Advanced PC or Mac experience with all Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite
