EDCP Military Systems Engineering - Turbine Module Field Integration
GE Aerospace is a leading organization in the defense sector, and they are seeking a Turbine Module Field Integration Systems Engineer for their Evendale location. This role involves leading technical support and problem-solving for turbine module field issues, managing safety investigations, and providing technical guidance to customers.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and vision to the EDCP organization for issues affecting the F110 and J85 turbine modules
Lead root cause investigations of field hardware failures, partnering with Product Support Engineering, Design Engineering, and the Failure Analysis lab
Participate in USAF and Foreign Military Safety Investigations
Provide technical expertise on Failure Modes and Affects for safety risk assessments
Provide troubleshooting expertise and tech data interpretation for customers and test operations
Travel as required to support failure investigations, Analytical Condition Inspections, and customer conferences
Establish plans and coordinate activities of multi-disciplined teams to achieve technical requirements, schedules, and contract commitments
Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments
Participate as a presenter or reviewer for internal/external technical and program reviews
Be a key participant or owner in developing and executing customer funded improvement programs
Assure proper documentation of technical data consistent with engineering policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or a similar discipline focused on mechanical or aerothermal design) from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 8 years of experience in an engineering position
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Established project management skills
Recognized as approachable, collaborative and inclusive
Strong track record of customer-facing relationship building

Preferred
Mechanical design or systems engineering experience on high- or low-pressure turbine engine hardware
Strong oral and written communication skills
