Part Time Patient Support Technician
The City of Sioux Falls Health Department is seeking part-time Patient Support Technicians for Falls Community Health. The role involves providing customer service to patients, scheduling and registering appointments, verifying financial eligibility, and maintaining patient medical records.

Responsibilities
Provide customer service to patients
Schedule, confirm, and register patients for clinic appointments, both in person and over the phone
Verify financial eligibility and third party coverage
Collect payments and answer questions regarding billing
Work closely with clinical teams as directed
Scan and maintain patient medical records
Arrange patient transportation and coordinate access to care and disease prevention
Qualification
Required
Experience with customer service duties at the front desk in a health clinic environment
Familiarity with an EMR system
At least 6 months of working in healthcare
Preferred
Experience working with non-English speakers
