Enterprise Architect (Government)

They are seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead cloud migration initiatives and integrate Zero Trust Architecture while ensuring compliance with federal policies. Responsibilities
Develop and execute Cloud Migration Plans for applications, data, and services while minimizing operational disruptions
Design, implement, and update Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) solutions that meet federal security policies
Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks, policies, and compliance controls
Integrate cloud services with existing on-premises systems without impacting baseline performance metrics
Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud adoption and ZTA implementation
Create reusable patterns, best practices, and roadmaps for scalable cloud deployments
Analyze cloud spending and optimize resource utilization
Provide training programs on cloud technologies and Zero Trust principles, including materials and documentation
Evaluate and recommend Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), Cloud Service Offerings (CSOs), and technology vendors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 12 years of general experience Six (6) years of general experience are equivalent to a bachelor's degree
Proven experience in Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEAC, TOGAF, DODAF, UAF)
Experience with cloud strategy, IT modernization, and Zero Trust Architecture
Leadership experience managing government, military, and contractor teams
Proficiency with EA tools: MagicDraw, Visio, or similar
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Certifications – must have one or more: CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCSA, or GICSP
Preferred
Experience supporting DoD or federal law enforcement agencies
Experience developing cloud adoption roadmaps, cost optimization strategies, and enterprise ZTA solutions
