Maintenance Mechanic B

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment with progressively less supervision
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment ensuring equipment is in good repair and safe operating condition
Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing activities with minimal supervision
Work in a safe manner, in compliance with company, State and Federal GMP’s, SOP’s, and administrative policies and procedures
Ability to work overtime as needed
Possess own tools
Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision
Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and on time
Perform assigned duties following 'Good Manufacturing Practices'
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform all other related duties as assigned

Required

A High School or Trade School Diploma or equivalent
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Familiarity with Lock Out/Tag Out and Confined Space Entry programs
Haz-Mat technical level training
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision
Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and on time
Perform assigned duties following 'Good Manufacturing Practices'
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Perform all other related duties as assigned
