Responsibilities
Entering data, reconciling accounts, and closing out clients’ books accurately and efficiently
Handling tasks like sales & use tax or payroll tax filings as needed
Communicating effectively with clients to gather information, address inquiries, and ensure minimal disruption to their operations
Preparing compiled financial statements and supporting schedules with attention to detail and minimal need for revisions
Assisting colleagues with training, technical matters, and one-time consulting projects, as well as sharing insights to help the team thrive
Attending industry group meetings, participating in training sessions, and completing at least 20 hours of continuing professional education annually
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of bookkeeping or related experience
Thorough working knowledge of accounting theory, concepts, practices and procedures
Experience with QuickBooks Online & Desktop
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience with Sage
