Responsibilities

On-Site Powertrain Controls Engineer for an engine tier 1 supplier at an OEM
Troubleshooting engine system including software, controls, and electronic systems
Following troubleshooting trees independently, working with technicians to carry out investigation & resolution, tracking issues with clear documentation of outcomes and strong communication skills (interface with engineers, techs and customers) are desired

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, or similar technical field
Experience in engine system including software, controls and electronic systems level troubleshooting
6-10 years of related experience
Following troubleshooting trees independently, working with technicians to carry out investigation & resolution, tracking issues with clear documentation of outcomes and strong communication skills (interface with engineers, techs and customers) are desired
Calterm and other field and engineering tools are utilized for ECM software and calibration interface during the troubleshooting
Customer interfacing powertrain and vehicle integration experience is a plus but not required
Calterm and other field and engineering tools are utilized for ECM software and calibration interface during the troubleshooting
Systems engineering is desired
Product problem solving
Technical management
Self motivated
Great communication skills
Calm under pressure

AutoSAR experience is preferred
