Responsibilities
Lead and manage the legal function across all business units, ensuring compliance with laws and and regulations
Provide expert legal advice to senior leadership on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters
Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Oversee litigation, dispute resolution, and external counsel relationships
Manage external legal budgets and expenses to achieve significant cost reductions
Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and risk mitigation strategies
Monitor changes in legislation and assess their impact on the business
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the construction and manufacturing industry
Train and mentor internal teams on legal best practices and compliance
Support M&A activity, joint ventures, corporate governance and board-level reporting
Maintain corporate records and ensure compliance with corporate formalities
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree; current Nevada State Bar license
8-10 years of legal practice experience, preferably in both law firm and in-house setting, with a focus on contracts, compliance, and corporate governance
Strong knowledge of construction and manufacturing industry regulations is a plus
Proven leadership in managing legal teams and cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High integrity, sound judgment, and business acumen
