Responsibilities
Oversee and maintain all buildings, grounds, and amenities
Ensure a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all safety standards
Address service requests and assist with apartment make-readies
Respond promptly to repair requests, including after-hours calls
Assist with interviewing, training, and managing team members in maintenance, custodial, and grounds positions
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests
Maintain inventory and manage the maintenance budget
Supervise in-house staff and vendors, ensuring adherence to safety regulations (OSHA, EPA) and Fair Housing standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
At least 2 years of multifamily maintenance supervisor experience
Strong HVAC experience and EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required
Proficient in general apartment maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
Ability to respond to after-hours calls
Basic tools and reliable transportation
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with residents, team members, and vendors
Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent walking in outdoor weather conditions
