Responsibilities
Drive end-to-end product design owning major features from concept to launch, conducting user research to understand customer needs and translating insights into solutions that solve real problems for knowledge workers
Ship high-quality experiences rapidly prototyping ideas to assess viability, designing detailed flows and interactions, and partnering closely with engineers to build, iterate, and launch with exceptional craft
Create comprehensive design deliverables producing specs, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design intent and enable smooth handoff to engineering
Design complex B2B workflows solving sophisticated problems around data management, permissions, integrations, and enterprise setup while maintaining simplicity and usability
Strengthen design foundations contributing to Glean's design system and component library, ensuring consistency and scalability across the product suite
Shape product strategy partnering with PMs to influence roadmaps, using data and research to advocate for user needs and identify opportunities for innovation
Elevate team excellence sharing work regularly with designers and cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback effectively, and upholding high standards for design quality
Qualification
Required
5+ years in product design, shipping software in close collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing teams
Proven experience designing enterprise products with focus on complex workflows, administrative tools, and setup experiences
Ability to create polished, high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma, with meticulous attention to detail
Understanding of technical concepts with bonus points for working knowledge of code, AI systems, APIs, and databases
Ability to navigate tradeoffs and constraints while going deep on details through rapid iteration, thinking holistically about user journeys
Strong written, verbal, and storytelling skills to articulate design rationale and build alignment across the company
Thrives in ambiguity, independently prioritizes based on user needs and business goals, and drives product ideas forward with conviction
