Responsibilities

Design mechanical components, including enclosures, cooling systems, and structural assemblies, using CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion)
Build and test prototypes, performing stress, thermal, and performance analyses to ensure designs meet end-user and datacenter requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and product managers, to integrate mechanical designs into AI hardware systems
Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance in high-density computing environments
Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly
Innovate to develop mechanical solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of AI hardware

Required

3+ years in mechanical design, with a focus on end-user products
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA)

Familiarity with AI hardware requirements, such as advanced cooling systems or ruggedized designs for datacenter applications
Expertise in mechanical design principles, including material selection, thermal management, and structural analysis
Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and iterative design processes
Knowledge of manufacturing techniques (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication)
Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
