Clinical Scribe

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a full time Clinical Scribe for Sonora Behavioral Health, Arizona's largest inpatient psychiatric hospital. The role involves performing clerical and information technology functions to assist practitioners in a psychiatric hospital setting, ensuring accurate documentation and facilitating patient encounters.

Responsibilities

Accurately and thoroughly document psychiatric evaluations, progress notes and discharge summaries
Knowledgeable of patient charts and ability to operate electronic health record and dictation system
Anticipate physician needs to facilitate the flow of patient encounters
Assist in developing and maintaining systems to track patient follow up and compliance
Alert physician when chart is incomplete
Assist in ensuring all addenda are signed off by a physician
Comply with specific standards that apply to the style of medical records and to the legal and ethical requirements for preparing medical documents and for keeping patient information confidential
Collaborate with patient treatment teams and administrative departments including Health Information Management, Utilization Review, Admitting and Receiving, Nursing and Social Work

Required
