Coeur Mining, Inc. is a U.S.-based precious metals producer seeking a motivated student for a summer internship in their Assay group at the Kensington Mine. Interns will gain hands-on experience, work on projects with industry professionals, and present their findings at a culminating event in Chicago.

Responsibilities

Gain real-world, on-the-job experience at one of the US operating mine sites

Develop test methods and learn the process of a fire assay laboratory

Identify and present on a company Business Improvement initiative

Work creatively and technically together to create a group presentation

Required

Undergraduate entering Junior or Senior year

Pursing a Bachelor's degree in related field to internship discipline desired

Minimum GPA 2.5, preferred GPA 3.0 or higher

Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the country of hire without requiring current or future sponsorship for employment

Must be 18 years of age or older

Candidates that are eager to demonstrate leadership potential, strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, initiative, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work individually and within a team

Curiosity and willingness to learn!
