The role involves overseeing core accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and driving process improvements while leading a growing team to support the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage the corporate month-end close process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering development and accountability across the team
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
Oversee financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies
Partner with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and executive leadership on variance analysis, forecasting, and reporting
Support annual audit preparation and act as a primary liaison with external auditors
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls
Assist in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and system upgrades, workflow optimization, and cross-department integration projects
Lead ad hoc accounting projects, acquisitions integration, and special reporting initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, required
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a management or leadership role
Advanced understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Workday, NetSuite, SAP, or similar
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment
Preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred
Blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience, strongly preferred
