CPL is dedicated to creating a more sustainable world through innovative structural engineering solutions. The Building Systems Engineer II will be responsible for designing building systems, conducting code research, and preparing project specifications for various structural projects.

Architecture

Responsibilities

Conduct code research in support of project development
Research and apply current technology and stay abreast of new and upcoming technologies
Analyzes reports, drawings, etc. to plan and design a project
Execute design calculations and quantity/cost estimates for buildings
Develop and prepare project specifications for structural building projects
Research code issues and develop educated strategies to satisfy code requirements

Qualification

Civil Engineering degreeStructural engineering experienceAutoCAD/Revit experienceDesign program experienceProfessional LicensureEffective interaction

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
A minimum of eight (8) years of structural engineering experience
AutoCAD/Revit experience
Design program experience such as Enercalc, RISA, Bentley Structural System or equivalent required
Professional Licensure
Ability to interact effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve goals and meet deadlines
