They are seeking a Senior-Level IT Specialist/Computer Systems Analyst to support the US Navy's Anti-Submarine Warfare initiatives, focusing on system administration, software engineering, and cyber security engineering.

Responsibilities

System administration for Naval Ship Tracking, Reporting and Analysis Tool (NSTRAT) System, to monitor the application and/or services and troubleshoot issues affecting availability
Software Engineering and testing to develop NSTRAT updates based on evolving DoD/DON directives (quarterly STIG updates), corrective maintenance and enhancements
Cyber Security Engineering to monitor the system in accordance with Risk Management Framework
Interacts with FLANKSPEED hosting services to submit and resolve NSTRAT system trouble tickets
Performs database entry, management, and monitors automated back-up
Supports database access for users, and distributes data to supporting/requesting commands
Performs database query analysis

Qualification

Microsoft SQL ServerAZURE Administrator AssociateCyber Security EngineeringDatabase managementAnalytical problem-solvingMicrosoft OfficeUS Navy networks experienceAzure experienceCommunication skills

Required

High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
Five (5) years of experience managing US Navy computer networks
Three (3) years experience using Microsoft SQL Server Database software
Hold and maintain certifications and/or training to maintain FLANKSPEED IL6 AZURE Privileged Access to include any of the following: AZURE Administrator Associate AZ-104, IAT Level II IAW DoD 8750, which can be fulfilled by holding any ONE of the following certifications: Security+, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CCNA-Security
Excellent analytical problem-solving skills
Proficient with common productivity software, including the Microsoft Office suite
Excellent communication skills
Existing Security Clearance Required: This position requires a DoD Secret security clearance. A qualified candidate must already possess an active or interim security clearance

Experience with Azure is desired
