Responsibilities

Ensure proper packaging/bagging, storing, labeling, loading and unloading of the final products
Model Cabot values of integrity, respect, excellence, and responsibility
Interact professionally with site personnel, visitors, contractors, and individuals at all levels of the Cabot organization
Follow work instructions, procedures, and policies
Work different shift schedules and overtime when required
Respond to call outs and attend required safety training (off-shift)
Move railcars with switch engineer (trackmobile)
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot the process
Collect final product samples for quality control testing
Support efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System and ISO Management Systems

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred industrial or chemical manufacturing experience
Knowledge of troubleshooting, problem solving, process control, and process improvements
Ensures compliance with all work instructions, procedures, policies, standards, regulations, and industry best practices (OSHA, RC14001, ISO 9001, PSM)
Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, aerial work platforms, and switch engine (trackmobile)
Ability to effectively engage in verbal and written communications that are timely, concise, clear, and relevant
Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Accurate and consistent in performing tasks
General mechanical aptitude
Strictly follows and complies with all SH&E procedures, standards and regulations
Constantly strives for Excellence in the fields of sustainability and Safety, Health, and preservation of the Environment
Familiar with topics such as Process Safety Management (PSM), safe work permitting, lockout/tagout, emergency response, and hazard recognition
