Responsibilities
Provide outpatient and inpatient care for children with rhythm disorders, including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of arrhythmias
Perform invasive electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implantations
Interpret non-invasive studies such as ECGs, Holter monitors, Zio studies, event monitors, and exercise testing
Participate in call coverage and consults for electrophysiology and general cardiology
Teach and mentor medical students, pediatric residents, and pediatric cardiology fellows
Participate in academic activities including case conferences, grand rounds, and CME events
Engage in clinical or translational research, quality improvement projects, and scholarly work aligned with personal and institutional goals
Collaborate with colleagues in cardiology, cardiac surgery, adult electrophysiology, and genetics to further develop the pediatric electrophysiology program
Contribute to outreach and regional partnerships to expand access to pediatric arrhythmia care across Oregon and surrounding states
Qualification
Required
MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited pediatric cardiology fellowship
Additional fellowship training in pediatric electrophysiology
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Electrophysiology
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Oregon
Preferred
Experience in catheter ablation, advanced device management, 3D mapping systems, and genetic arrhythmia syndromes
Academic track record with publications or contributions to clinical research
