Sr. IT Project Manager
GoTo Foods is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager responsible for leading teams to successfully deliver projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of project management methodologies, focusing on delivering custom software development and IT infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation
Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies
Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to maintain alignment with objectives
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and budgets
Partner with architects and engineers to design and deliver scalable solutions
Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools supporting project outcomes
Provide technical directions to ensure alignment between design and business requirements
Lead, motivate, and develop cross-functional project teams
Foster a collaborative team culture that promotes ownership and accountability
Coach and mentor team members and junior project managers
Communicate effectively with executives, business partners, and vendors
Manage stakeholder expectations and proactively resolve issues
Facilitate decision-making, alignment, and transparency throughout the project
Establish and maintain project governance routines including steering committee updates, RAID tracking, and executive reporting
Ensure consistent use of PMO tools, templates, and methodologies to maintain transparency and accountability
Drive compliance with financial tracking, capitalization, and resource planning processes
Support portfolio-level visibility through status reporting and integrated roadmap updates
Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
Collaborate with Finance and PMO leadership on capitalization tracking, contractor utilization, and capacity planning
Ensure effective allocation and optimization of internal and external resources
Partner with business and technology teams to define change management strategies ensuring adoption and sustainability
Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to continuous PMO maturity
Document lessons learned and share best practices across the organization
Ensure project deliverables meet quality and compliance standards
Implement quality control processes and review checkpoints throughout delivery
Qualification
Required
5–8 years of IT Project Management experience
Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with varying scope and complexity
Hands-on experience with multiple software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
Strong working knowledge of Smartsheet for project planning, dashboards, and portfolio reporting, as well as Atlassian Jira and Confluence for tracking and collaboration
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Preferred
Experience with projects implemented on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience in the restaurant, retail, or food service industry
Prior experience driving governance processes, financial tracking, and resource capacity planning
Exposure to enterprise technology transformations such as POS modernization, data platform enablement, or digital ordering solutions
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
Agile or Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP)
