Responsibilities

Supervise the execution of structural engineering projects

Manage workload by coordinating with clients, overseeing design process, and coordinating with design team

Serve as the Engineer of Record with engineer seals on assigned projects

Responsible for the quality of the work performed, client service, reputation of company, contract management, and project profitability

Assist Practice and Managers with staff development, identify training needs, and mentor Project Engineers and Graduate Engineers while working on assigned projects

Required

Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and methods required to plan, design, and detail the structural systems of buildings and other structures

Advanced knowledge of local, state, and national building and material codes. This includes but not limited to ASCE7, IBC, NDS, AISC, AISI, TMS, and ACI codes

Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited University required

Minimum of 10 years' experience in design and preparation of construction documents of building structural systems

Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure required
