Engineering Manager EPC
MYR Energy Services, Inc. is a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc, dedicated to providing superior specialty contracting services. The Engineering Manager, EPC will oversee engineering aspects of electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects nationwide, managing the design, procurement, and construction phases.

Responsibilities
Understanding and preparing proposals for Engineer, Procure, Construction (EPC) electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects
Managing and coordinating all detailed design engineering subcontractors and the associated engineering field liaison activities
Coordinating all engineered equipment and material procurement activities
Interfacing with equipment vendors, including expediting vendor procurement information and deliverables, or delegating work to the procurement manager as necessary
Preparing the engineering and engineered equipment procurement requirements of the project
Scheduling day-to-day engineering subcontractor and equipment procurement activities and coordinating these activities with the Project Executive and/or Project Manager
Performing additional duties as directed by the Project Executive and/or the Project Manager
Manage the testing and commissioning contractor for EPC projects
Other duties as assigned
Regular and predictable attendance
Travel up to 25% required
Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience in design, engineering, or project management experience related to electrical, transmission, distribution, and substation projects
PE license
Construction related experience or EPC project experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, etc. plans and specifications to include blueprints, proposals and other documents as they relate to electrical work
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to prepare construction schedules in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera
Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
Team player who is able to successfully work with diverse internal and external partners
Self-driven with the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time
