Civil/Environmental Engineer
CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to join their Water/Wastewater Team in Charlotte, NC, where you’ll play a vital role in assessing, rehabilitating, and modernizing critical sewer systems. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful projects from day one.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for sewer system rehabilitation projects
Support senior engineers in preparing technical reports, contract documents, and cost estimates
Perform calculations and design tasks using industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and best practices for sewer system optimization
Join field assignments with senior staff to gain hands-on experience in assessment, planning, and rehabilitation of sewer and stormwater systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
No experience required; however prior internships and/or relevant coursework are preferred
Strong theoretical foundation and familiarity with engineering software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team
Preferred
Participation in professional engineering society/organization preferred
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification a plus
