Operations & Accounting Assistant | Local property management team ๐ก๐ Full-time/ Part-time

The Operations & Accounting Assistant will support accounting and property operations, ensuring accurate processing of invoices, maintaining records, and coordinating communication with tenants and vendors.

Responsibilities
Process invoices, rent postings, and deposits accurately in AppFolio
Maintain organized digital and paper records for accounting and leases
Communicate clearly with tenants, vendors, and property owners
Track expenses and assist with reconciliations and reporting
Coordinate maintenance requests and inspection scheduling
Prepare basic reports and support owner statement processing
Handle office coordination, supplies, and mail management
Follow daily and monthly checklists for consistent accuracy
Qualification
Required
1โ3 years of administrative, bookkeeping, or office coordination experience
Strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through
Clear communication and professional service mindset
Comfort learning tools like AppFolio, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace
Strong organization in hybrid or in-office environments
Eagerness to learn real estate operations and accounting systems
Preferred
Experience in property management or accounting support
Familiarity with zInspector or similar maintenance tracking tools
Basic understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
Interest in pursuing a California real estate license
