ITC Holdings Corp. is offering a Summer 2026 Internship Program for students to gain valuable experience in accounting. The intern will assist with various accounting tasks, participate in meetings, and support financial reporting and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate financial records
Prepare journal entries and support month-end close activities
Support the preparation of financial statements, reports, and variance analyses
Assist with tax computations, returns, and audit documentation
Use Excel and accounting software for reporting and analysis tasks
Participate in internal audit activities, including reviewing controls and compliance processes
Participate in special projects and attend team meetings to learn industry practices

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum GPA: 3.0
Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
This program is a 12 week program during the summer, with 40 hour work weeks
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. ITC does not sponsor employment visas, such as H-1B or TN visas
