Start in 2026 WinterJPMorgan Chase is a leading financial services firm, and they are seeking a Systematic Trading Intern to leverage data analysis and mathematical modeling for automated trading strategies. The intern will build algorithms, develop quantitative models, and conduct data analysis to optimize trading performance.

Responsibilities
Build algorithms for automated trading of liquid instruments across electronic channels
Develop quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and execution
Conduct data analysis and backtesting to identify patterns and improve strategies
Make data-driven decisions to optimize liquidity and trading outcomes
Stay current with advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistics, and programming
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree or Ph.D. program in math, science, engineering, computer science or other quantitative fields
Object-oriented programming experience with one or more of Python, Matlab, C++, Java, or C#
Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated research ability
Strong communication skills and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience
Preferred
Demonstrated interest in systematic trading (no prior experience in financial markets required)
