Anchor Placing Laborer
Ansco & Associates, LLC is focused on providing a connected career in the telecom sector. They are seeking an Operator Telecom Pole Anchors to operate specialized equipment for installing pole anchors and related structures for telecom infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Operate anchor trucks, digger derricks, or hydraulic equipment
Install pole anchors and guy wires based on engineering specs
Assist with load setup and site prep
Ensure equipment is operated safely and within regulations
Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Support crews with material handling and safety spotting
Communicate with team to align on anchor placement
Report site conditions or hazards to supervisor
Travel to various job sites as needed
Participate in safety and equipment training programs
Qualification
Required
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with acceptable record
Basic knowledge of soil types, as they may impact anchor depth and installation requirements
Preferred
Experience operating telecom or utility equipment preferred
Ability to read blueprints or staking sheets, especially valuable if telecom experience is preferred rather than required
