Responsibilities
Train personnel on proper identification and risk mitigation of safety hazards
Implement processes to reduce the risk of injury during work activities
Ensure our personnel meet required local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health requirements in the execution of their duties
Record and compile data, update logs, and submit required safety compliance documentation
Monitor and schedule maintenance for safety equipment and jobsite tools as required
Perform and oversee the investigation of accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions including interfacing with workers’ compensation processes
Qualification
Required
Proven safety management experience within construction, electronic security, telecommunications or related industries
Certifications from industry recognized organizations focusing on safety education
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to safety excellence
Strong understanding of construction related hazards and solutions
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and projects in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing to travel frequently across North America; international travel may be required
Preferred
Degree in safety management is desired but not required
