As a Senior Solutions Engineer in the Insurance vertical, you will design and deliver integrations that enhance digital payment experiences for insurers and policyholders, working closely with partners and customers throughout the integration process.
Responsibilities
Lead complex integrations with minimal oversight, and be a trusted advisor on solution design best practices
Collaborate with Implementation Project Managers to scope, size, and plan “custom” system integrations tailored to customer requirements and environments
Lead implementation discovery to fully understand the customer’s business, digital payment, security, UI/UX, and integration requirements
Design solutions that align customer requirements with our EBPP platform’s capabilities, ensuring the right balance between functionality, scalability, and user experience
Draft comprehensive architectural diagrams that visualize workflows, API calls, and UI/UX integration, for all in-scope use cases
Collaborate with Integration Project Managers to build easily deployable “standard” integrations that accelerate delivery and promote consistency across Insurance core systems such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, and Insurity
Maintain and enhance existing integrations to incorporate platform enhancements and address evolving market and customer needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or similar field
Deep experience and understanding of the insurance policy, billing, and claims lifecycle, and related digital payment processes and UI/UX design
4+ years in SaaS system integration, consulting, software development, or technical sales roles in the Financial/Insurance vertical
Proficiency in integrating SOAP/REST APIs, and use of tools like Postman or Swagger
Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Strong understanding of data integration (JSON, XML, SFTP, SQL)
Development experience in Python, Java, or .NET (VB.NET a plus)
Familiarity with federated identity management (SSO, SAML, OAuth)
Preferred
Candidates with extensive Guidewire development or system integration experience are HIGHLY PREFERRED
Experience with other core insurance systems (Duck Creek, Insurity, Majesco) is preferred
