DEPUTY CLERK - RECORDS
The Louisiana Supreme Court is seeking a Deputy Clerk to play a vital role in preserving and organizing legal records integral to the functioning of the court system. The Deputy Clerk will supervise staff and ensure that all records are accurately maintained and in compliance with relevant provisions.

Responsibilities
Ensure all records are accurately maintained and easily accessible
Supervise departmental staff
Organize records for the docket
Set up schedules for archiving records in compliance with the State Archives
Purge 'dead' files for paper recycling
Process incoming records
Sign record orders
Respond to record requests
Qualification
Required
Strong knowledge of court record-keeping and filing policies and procedures, including electronic filing
Five years of related work experience in a court or other legal setting required
A Bachelor's or Paralegal degree may be substituted in lieu of the required experience on a year for year basis
